Vegetable Plants and Perennials

Sunfire Coreopsis

Phlox

Ice Plant

Butterfly Blue Pincushion Flower

Yesterday we went to Lowe's and picked up some vegetable plants for our vegetable garden as well as some perennials for our flower bed. The girls helped plant, fertilize and water them. We found lots of grub eggs when we were turning over the soil. Yuck!! We planted a few annuals in the flower pot out front, too. I hope the rabbits will leave them alone.

  1. Beautiful!

We discovered a rabbit living in our backyard yesterday - that explains so much as to what happens to our plants, LOL!!!!

  2. I think the little bunnies that live near our house love to munch on my plants. LOL

  4. I need to take the kids and my camera over to the lake by our house. The wild flowers are incredible this time of the year.
