I just figured out that it all boils down to four words: Mind Your Own Business. An ill-natured phrase as commonly used, but as applied in many self-help programs, it makes great good sense.
I will concentrate on the things that are my concern~and make sure which really are mine. I will keep hands off the business of others. I will not interfere with the activities of others, assume their responsibilities or shield them from the consequences of what they do.
When you are offended at anyone's fault, turn to yourself and study your own failings. By attending to them, you will forget your anger and learn to live wisely. ~Marcus Aurelius
