Ten On Tuesday

.) See that picture? That's what I think the State of the Union will be reminiscent of tonight. It will be nothing but lip service. Will you be watching?

.) Hemorrhoids are quite painful. Anyone have a solution for those? OUCH!!

.) My OBGYN rocks! He and his nurse have been taking care of me since I was 25 years old. So far all is well and I'm supposed to take a calcium supplement. For me that means being more consistent with my daily vitamin. I already drink milk on a regular basis so I think I'm good to go in that department.

.) Apparently having 4 periods a year is not going to be a problem for me. As long as I'm not bleeding for long "periods" of time I don't have anything to worry about.

.) My doc told me I don't need to see an Endocrinologist. My family doctor is monitoring my thyroid just fine. We already know it's Hashimoto's Disease. We already know that .1 MG of Synthroid keeps my levels normal. Therefore, I am good to go in that department.

.) I've known I had Hashimoto's Disease since spring of 2006. It's a big reason we chose not to have any more kids. When Kinsley was born she about killed me. She was 10 lbs 3 oz and YES it was a vaginal delivery. The following spring I experienced severe energy loss which is what prompted me to see my doctor. Hence the Hypothyroid aka Hashimoto's Disease.

.) My 1st mammogram experience went so well last year that I decided to schedule my "girly" appointment on the same day. This year I knew what to expect. I felt like an old pro!

.) My advice OR tip to anyone getting a mammogram would be to remind you that you are not allowed to wear deodorants or lotions on the day of your appointment. You'll want to stash your deodorant in your purse so you'll have it to put on after your mammogram is complete. With that stated as plain as day I'd like to make this my Tuesday Tip for the week and let y'all know that I am liking up with Tuesday's Tip Jar over on Blog Mommas..see?

.) Sushi has her vet appointment today. It went well. They checked her temp and they gave her a vaccine as part of her initial checkup. She weighed in at 11 lbs which is good because she’s not supposed to weigh more than that. Good Job Sushi!

.) Poor Kinsley is not feeling well. She’s had a horrible cold since last Friday and it’s turned into a horrible cough now too. We are headed to see the family doctor to make sure there is nothing more going on above and beyond what we can see or hear. Since this post is also my random I am linking up with:
