I Have To Go Pee! I Have To Go Pee!

At any given moment in time Kinsley will suddenly stop what she’s doing and start running for her life to the toilet screaming, “I have to go pee! I have to go pee! I have to go pee!” As if screaming it while she’s trying to save herself is going to change the fact that the pee is coming!

I have no idea why she waits until the last minute to use the potty. She knows she has to go and let it out yet she waits, and waits, and waits some more until it’s time to stop, scream and run for the potty all over again.

Me: Did you wash your hands?
Kinsley: Yes!
Me: Ok, let me smell your hands.
Kinsley: Ok, Ok, Ok… I need to wash my hands!
Me: Yes… You… Do!
Kinsley: I need help turning on the water.

(anything to prolong the inevitable)

Me: Then your hands are going to stay yucky if you don’t wash them.
Kinsley: I’m washing them.
Me: Did you wash your hands?
Kinsley: Yes!
Me: Let me smell them.
Kinsley: Ok…smell them.
Me: Why is it important to wash your hands?
Kinsley: Because they’re going to be stinky.
Me: What else?
Kinsley: Dirty.
Me: Next time you have to go potty you should go right away. Don’t wait until the last minute… ok?
Kinsley: Ok.
Fiona: Can I please have the crayon box down?
